ConnectWyze

Workspaces and Members

A workspace is the shared environment where your team creates templates, data sources, workflows, and generated images.

What it is

ConnectWyze is multi-tenant: every resource (templates, data sources, workflows, API keys, generated images, storage configuration) belongs to a workspace, not to an individual user. Users can be members of more than one workspace and switch between them using the workspace switcher in the sidebar.

Each workspace has its own:

  • Templates, feeds, and workflows
  • Credit balance
  • Storage configuration
  • Member list and roles
  • Slack and other integrations

When you'd use it

  • You need to invite a designer or marketer to collaborate on templates.
  • You want to give a developer read/view access without letting them change settings.
  • A team member leaves and you need to remove them.
  • You need to rename your workspace or update its settings.
  • You manage multiple brands and want each in an isolated workspace.

Quick start (user)

Invite a new member

  1. Go to Dashboard → Settings → Members (/dashboard/settings/users).
  2. Click Invite Member.
  3. Enter the email address and select a role.
  4. Click Send Invitation.

ConnectWyze sends an invitation email. The link expires after 7 days. You can resend an expired invitation from the same page.

If the invited email already has a ConnectWyze account, they are added to the workspace immediately without needing to click the invitation link.

Change a member's role

  1. Go to Settings → Members (/dashboard/settings/users).
  2. Find the member in the list.
  3. Use the role selector in their row to change their role.

Only workspace admins can change roles.

Remove a member

  1. Go to Settings → Members (/dashboard/settings/users).
  2. Click the menu on the member's row and select Remove from workspace.
  3. Confirm the removal.

The member loses access immediately. Their account is not deleted — they can still access other workspaces they belong to.

Switch between workspaces

Use the workspace selector at the top of the sidebar to switch. Your session remembers the last active workspace on your next login.

Update workspace name or settings

Go to Settings → Workspace (/dashboard/settings/workspace) to rename the workspace or update general settings.

Member roles

Role Invite/remove members Manage settings Access all resources Notes

User No No Yes Can create and use resources but cannot manage members or settings

The first member of a workspace is automatically assigned Workspace Admin. There is no separate "owner" role — admin permissions are identical for every Workspace Admin.

Invitation behavior

Scenario Result
Invitee has no ConnectWyze account Receives email with link to /signup?token=…
Invitee already has an account Added to workspace immediately; no email action required
Invitation already pending (not expired) System blocks a duplicate invitation
Invitation expired (7 days) Admin can delete and resend

Troubleshooting

Symptom Fix
Invitation email not received Ask the invitee to check spam. The sender is from connectwyze.com. Admin can resend from Settings → Members.
"An invitation is already pending for this email" A non-expired invitation exists for that address. Wait for it to expire or contact support to remove it.
Removed member can still access the workspace Confirm the removal completed successfully. Session tokens expire on next page load.
Cannot see the Invite Member button You are not a workspace admin. Ask your workspace admin to perform the action.
Workspace switcher shows stale data Reload the page. The switcher syncs on navigation.
