Cookie Policy
Last updated: May 9, 2026
1. What this policy covers
This policy explains how ConnectWyze ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar browser-storage technologies on connectwyze.com and inside our dashboard. It works together with our Privacy Policy.
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website asks your browser to store. Session cookies are deleted when you close the browser; persistent cookies remain until they expire or you delete them. Some sites also use related technologies — localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB — which work the same way for the purposes of this policy.
3. The cookies we set today
We currently set only essential cookies that are necessary to operate the Service. None of these cookies are used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
- Authentication (NextAuth) — keeps you signed in across pages. Cleared when you sign out or the session expires.
- CSRF token — protects sign-in and other state-changing requests from cross-site forgery attacks.
- Workspace preference — remembers which workspace you last used so you land on it next time.
- Sidebar / theme preference — stores UI settings such as dark mode and sidebar collapse state in localStorage.
We rely on Stripe-hosted Checkout and Customer Portal pages for payments. Stripe sets its own cookies on those pages under Stripe's policies — those pages are operated by Stripe, not us.
4. Cookies we may add
If we introduce analytics or marketing cookies in the future, we will update this policy and surface a consent banner where required by law (e.g. ePrivacy Directive in the EU/UK). You will be able to accept or reject non-essential cookies at that point.
5. Your choices
You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent sign-in and break much of the dashboard, but you can still browse the public pages. Most browsers also offer a "Do Not Track" signal — we do not use third-party trackers, so this signal has no effect on our current cookie behaviour.
6. Changes
If we update this policy we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be announced through an in-app banner or email.
